Hello! I’m Catherine.
I am currently completing my clinical internship at Growing Well Counseling as part of my graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fairfield University. I bring a solid foundation in family systems and relational dynamics, along with a deep alignment with respectful parenting philosophies. I also have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which supports my work helping people build skills for emotional well-being, particularly during the perinatal period.
As the mom of two young daughters, I have firsthand experience with the complexity of modern parenthood. I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through the transitions that come along the journey of conception, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, and I aim to help clients feel truly seen and supported throughout this season of growth and transition.
Before training as a therapist, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Virginia. I spent several years working in the corporate world, where I learned to navigate the competing demands of career and new motherhood - an experience that continues to inform my work today.
I want every client to know: you don’t have to do this alone, and you deserve great care along the way.
Catherine is seeing clients via telehealth with a special focus on couples. She can see folks on a sliding scale/reduced fee.
