We will spend the morning (9am-1pm) at Women’s Wellness, LLC, learning about the six distinct perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, how to differentiate, cultural considerations, and how create and carry out treatment plans in the perinatal period.

This course is an introduction to assessment, diagnosis and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders for mental health clinicians. Useful for anyone working with birthing people and individuals of reproductive age we will touch on prenatal and postpartum anxiety, depression, OCD, birth trauma, perinatal PTSD, bipolar disorder in the peripartum and postpartum psychosis. You will learn about how to adapt traditional therapies to the birthing person and perinatal-specific interventions to level up your therapy practice.
