I am a  National Certified Counselor & CT Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health and birth trauma. I founded Growing Well Counseling in 2015 and expanded to full-time in 2016. I am a founding member and of Postpartum Support International, CT Chapter. I firmly believe I am not the healer for everyone and if we are not a good fit, I'll help you find one. I almost exclusively work with women and couples around relationship and motherhood transitions, many of which include trauma. In our work we focus on finding solutions and moving forward. I want you to see results fairly soon and be empowered to return to the life you love rather than relying on therapy indefinitely.

I am also a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) through the National Council on Family Relations. I have completed over 3,000 hours in post-graduate preventive and family wellness focused work and education. Family Life Education and Perinatal Wellness are a great complement. Growing a family brings about significant shifts in the way women and families interact in societal contexts and there are going to be impactful changes to the internal family dynamics. Increasing demands on women and couples during this developmental change lead to new stresses and can bring about relationship challenges you have not previously encountered or perhaps feel more significant now. I incorporate parent education and family resource management into my psychoeducational interventions to help you reduce stress and enjoy more of motherhood.
